Structured Products Valuation Associate (Hybrid | New York, NY or Dallas, TX) Location: New York, NY or Dallas, TX (Hybrid: Mon-Thurs in-office, Fri optional remote) Employment Type: Full-Time A leading global investment banking advisory firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its Valuations & Opinions Group, with a focus on ABS and structured products. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative, high-performing team that advises top-tier private equity firms, public and private companies, and institutional investors worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and review complex financial models and valuation analyses Prepare and present valuation reports and client deliverables Analyze structured finance instruments including RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, ABS, and whole loan portfolios (e.g., mortgage, student, and consumer loans) Develop and refine valuation methodologies, including modeling prepayment and loss vectors and market spread analysis Lead recurring valuation projects and mentor junior team members Monitor capital markets and provide strategic insights Support business development through marketing materials and client interactions Qualifications: ~2-5 years of experience in structured products (valuation, trading, structuring, or modeling) ~ Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency ~ Solid understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparables, etc.) ~ Excellent communication and writing skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word ~ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; strong academic record ~ Prior experience in a valuation role (4-6 years) is preferred but not required Ideal Candidate Traits: Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit High integrity and professionalism Strong organizational and project management skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
